Objectives
- Teach radiology residents with an interactive web-based radiological module on whole-body CT imaging
- To illustrate the use of e-learning management software, based on interactive content and full image series cine viewing in creating pedagogical program
Content organization
- 15 trauma cases with significant lesions were selected.
- A user friendly interface was made allowing cine through full image series (transverse images, MPR, MIP, VR). The cases are presented in a quiz format with the full-body CT examination.
- Clinically relevant lesions and key points will be highlighted in the discussion of each case.
- The list of cases includes head, spine, chest, lung, great vessels, abdomen and limbs trauma.
Summary
- This teaching module is a free e-learning workshop about whole-body CT trauma imaging.
- It is based on clinical cases with full image series, cine viewing and 2D/3D image reformats to enhance user’s pedagogical experience. Interactive quizzes provides learning self-assessment.
- After completing this module, radiologists should improve their ability to interpret whole-body CT scans with specific trauma pathology.
