 - How do I customize my quiz?

You can select any question filters you want before starting your quiz.

The "Presets" section contains already defined criteria to ease your quiz creation.

The "Question" section allows you to filter by unanswered questions, unseened,  incorrect questions or flagged questions (flagged questions are question that you have selected using the feedback tool during a previous quiz).

The "Organ systems" section allows you to filter questions related to a certain organ.

The "Modalities - Fundamentals" section allows you to filter questions by imaging modality.

The "Difficulty" section allows you to filter questions by their level:

- Beginner (basic knowledge in diagnostic radiology)

- Intermediate (should be known at the end of residency)

- Advanced (beyond resident level, practice several years)

The "Milestones" section allows you to filter questions using ACGME milestone contexts.

"Shuffle questions" shuffles questions so you won't have the same questions in the same order every time.

"Show answer" switches your quiz between Exam and Training mode.

If you check this field, the system will show you the answer after each question (Training mode).

If not, you will have to wait until the end of the quiz to see them (Exam mode).

If your customized quiz is going to have too many questions, you can reduce the number of question by adjusting the "Number of questions" bar.

You can select the maximum time allowed for this quiz using the second slider.

The "Share with" field allows you to share this quiz with a friend. You just need to enter their email address to share the quiz with them.

And finally the "Optional name" allows you to give a name to your quiz so you can find it more easily later on.

 - I have more questions in my quiz than I expected?

Sometimes you will select 10 questions but your quiz will have 15! This is because some questions are linked and can't be answered on their own.

We call these linked questions a mini case. Questions inside a mini case have to be answered in the correct order and that's why you will sometimes have more questions than you expected.

 - Can I create a timed session?

Of course, you just need to select the maximum allowed time for the session when you create it. To do so, move the "Time limit" slider.

 - What are Milestones?

The Milestones are an ACGME framework for the assessment of the development of the resident physician in key dimensions of the elements of physician competency in a specialty or subspecialty.

 - Color code for Quiz in Review Mode:

Each square represents one question in your quiz.

- Blue: question you are on

- Dark Grey: unseen question

- Light Grey: you have selected 'unsure' on this question

- Green: question answered correctly

- Red: Wrong answer

- Orange: Partially correct

- Black: question unanswered

To move to a specific question you can click on the square button.

- Color code for Quiz in Exam Mode:

Each square represents one question in your quiz.

Same color code as in Review mode above but you do not see your results (red, orange, green).

- White: question answered

- Black: question unanswered

 - Color code in the Performance Report:

- Red represents incorrect answered questions

- Green represents correct answered questions

- Orange represents partially correct answered questions

 - How do I answer questions?

Just select one or more answers depending on the type of the question and then click "Submit answer".

If the question is a multi choice question, it will be displayed with square "checkboxes" but if the question only has one answer it will be displayed with round "radio" buttons.

 - How do I go back?

By clicking on the "Previous" question button on the bottom of the screen or by clicking on the question number in the navigation bar.

 - Why can't I modify some questions after going back?

Some questions belong to a mini case. Theses questions are linked in such a way that the later questions can give the answer to earlier questions. In Exam mode, you can not modify previous answers.

 - How does the progression graph works?

The most important thing to understand your improvement is the progression area. QEVLAR offers you several ways to visualize your progress. You can choose to see your progression in each question bundle or your overall progress.

At the top of the page you first have some numbers showing you the percentage of correct, partially correct and incorrect answers you have answered over the whole set of questions available in the bundle.

You have some information about your global answering rate and the percentage of correct, partially correct and incorrect answers over the number of questions you have already answered.

Then a graph representing your progression over time, which displays the percentage of correct, partially correct and incorrect answers by days over the total number of questions available in the bundle.

And finally there are several graphs split by filter options.

When you get used to it you can see in very quickly which is your strongest skill and the ones you need to work on.

 - How can I share a quiz?

You can share a quiz in several ways:

When you start a quiz, enter a friend's email to automatically share it with them.

On the QEVLAR start page, once a quiz has already been started, you can select it and click on the "Share" button on the bottom of the screen. then enter a friend's email to automatically share it with them.

And finally, you can share a completed quiz from the Performance report page by clicking on this icon

Deepen the experience:

 - What is a bundle?

A Bundle is a set of questions written by our partners. Each bundle has its own set of questions.

You can't mix questions from different bundles in a single quiz because authors have designed the bundles to be stand alone and to target a specific field. When you have purchased a bundle, you can select this bundle right away to start a quiz.

Bundles can also be downloaded onto the mobile QEVLAR Apps to increase the number of questions available.

 - How do I get more questions?

To add more questions to your pool, you need to subscribe to a bundle. Each Bundle has its own price and subscription duration depending on the number of questions and intended audience.

 - What happens to my quiz once my subscription expires?

Once your Bundle subscription expires, the performance report is recalculated to fit your (reduced) pool of questions.

You should expect some changes in the performance report when a subscription comes to an end. You will still be able to review your old quizzes related to this bundle.

All your unfinished quizzes remain safely stored away but you can't access them anymore. Then when you renew your subscription, your old quizzes will be restored and you can continue without interruption.

 - Are group or institution subscription available?

Yes, click here to get a quote.

 - Will the RadCore Bundle evolve?

Yes, the RadCore Bundle will be updated with new questions and images.

They will automatically be downloaded when you connect to the internet.

 - Is the Bundle price going to change?

As the RadCore Bundle evolves, its price might change but you will never be charged more for something you have already purchased.

 - How can I contribute?

If you want to create your own Bundle, don't hesitate to contact us at contact@imaios.com.

We will be glad to provide you with all the help you need to be a part of this amazing multi-platform learning tool.

Communication and mobile Apps:

 - Do I need an internet connection?

On a web browser, you will need an internet connection to access our website and QEVLAR WebApp.

On the mobile QEVLAR Apps, you will be able to create and take a quiz whenever you want without an internet connection.

You will only need to have an internet connection for synchronizing your sessions with QEVLAR WebApp.

 - How does synchronisation works?

Synchronisation allows you to share all your quizzes between all your devices. Start a quiz on any platform (QEVLAR WebApp or QEVLAR mobile), push synchronize and your quizzes will become available for all platforms and devices. You can stop a quiz at any time and you can resume it anywhere and whenever you want!

 - Is there any restriction on quizzes with a large amount of questions?

On the QEVLAR WebApp, there is no restriction on the number of questions in a quiz nor in the number of quizzes.

For technical reason, we don't recommend taking a quiz with more than 300 questions on the mobile App.

 - Is QEVLAR available on tablets?

Yes.
