Definição
O tendão distal do músculo bíceps femoral possui uma anatomia complexa, com múltiplos pontos de inserção. Ele se insere principalmente na norma lateral da cabeça da fíbula, circundando o ligamento colateral fibular. No entanto, também apresenta fixações adicionais ao côndilo lateral da tíbia, à fáscia crural, ao tendão do músculo poplíteo e ao ligamento poplíteo arqueado.[1-2]
