Ducto colédoco - Ductus choledochus

Descrição

The common bile duct (ductus choledochus) is formed by the union of cystic adn common hepatic ducts and ending in the duodenum on the major duodenal papille.

In carnivores, as they don't have a common hepatic duct, the cystic duct joints directly the different lobar hepatic ducts. Therefore, the common bile duct (ductus choledochus) may simply termed "bile duct".
