Processo caudado - Processus caudatus


The caudate process is the elongated right projection that forms the visceral surface of the caudate lobe. Its caudolateral portion is deeply recessed by the cranial half of the right kidney. in dogs, the parenchyma of the caudated process is usually partly fused to the right lateral lobe, but occasionally the two portions are completely separated.
