The face (Facies) is the front of an animal's head; it is much more developed in domestic animals than in men, In Ungulates, it occupies more than two thirds of the head. It holds the oral and nasal cavities. Externally, it shows the regions of the nose, the mouth, the chin, the mandible, and on each side, the one of the eye, the zygomatic arch and the cheek.
