Internal surface of parietal bone

Definition
The internal surface of parietal bone is concave. It presents depressions corresponding to the cerebral convolutions. Additionally, the internal surface features numerous grooves where the branches of the middle meningeal artery are located. These branches start at the foramen spinosum and extend upwards and backwards following the inner sides of the temporal and parietal bones.
