Middle ethmoidal cells - Cellulae ethmoidales mediae
The middle ethmoidal cells are thin-walled cellular cavities of the ethmoidal labyrinth. They have the same opening of the anterior ethmoidal cells (between the middle and inferior nasal conchae).
The anatomy of the ethmoidal cells are highly variable, sometimes the middle turbinate may contain an air cell known as the concha bullosa.
