Definition

The nasal spine of frontal bone is a distinct bony prominence formed where the lower edge of the nasal part of the frontal bone (also known as the nasal margin of frontal bone) extends downward and forward at the point where the two nasal notches converge in the center. The nasal spine comes to lie behind the nasal bones and supports the bridge of the nose.
