Vasculary territories > Territory of medial lenticulo-striate arteries and Heubner artery (Deep ACA A1-segment)

The A1 segment from the ACA originates to anterior communicating artery and gives rise to medial lenticulostriate arteries. It supplies the inferior parts of the head of the caudate and the anterior limb of the internal capsule with the medial lenticulostriate arteries (Heubner's artery is the largest of the medial lenticulostriate arteries and supplies the anteromedial part of the head of the caudate and anterior inferior internal capsule).
