Report

Diagnosis

Breast asymmetry with a small nodule, the aspect of which suggests a fibroadenoma within denser glandular tissue on the right.

History

No particular personal past history.
Past history of breast cancer in a twin sister 4 months ago.
The clinical examination was normal.

Findings

Asymmetry of upper lateral density, at the expense of the right. Within this asymmetry, there was a doubt concerning a nodule which was confirmed with tomosynthesis: complete, well-defined outline.
This was not identified with ultrasound.
MRI: total absence of suspicious enhancement, with a small rounded image in the right lower lateral quadrant, very regular, with considerable T2 hyperintensity and no enhancement, most likely corresponding to an old fibroadenoma.
