SBR II infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma

Report

Diagnosis

SBR II infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma

History

A 47-year-old patient, with no personal or family history indicating a risk of breast cancer, monitored in the context of fibrocystic mastopathy and bilateral fibroadenomas.

In the face of a breast ultrasound that was difficult to analyse (dense, type IV breast tissue on the mammogram, multiple hypoechoic formations on the ultrasound (fibroadenomas and cysts with a more or less thick content), a characterising MRI was requested in order to eliminate any underlying angiogenesis.
