Acromio-Clavicular Joint Osteoarthritis with Supraspinatus tendon impingement

Publication date: February 10, 2025 | Updated on February 10, 2025

Report

Mild to moderate amount of joint effusion seen mainly in the posterior recess.

Irregular cortical outline of the humeral head with few small subchondral cysts noted.

Hypertrophy and osteoarthritic changes of the acromio-clavicular joint causing impingement of the supraspinatus tendon.

Fluid signal intensity is involving the infraspinatus tendon near its insertion in the humeral head; suggestive of partial supraspinatus tear.
