In order to improve the performance and ergonomics of our website www.imaios.com, a brand new version will go online in the coming days. New features are available such as editing and sharing clinical cases or a page dedicated to anatomical structures.

At IMAIOS, designing efficient and easy-to-use tools and interfaces is one of our main priorities. Following our article explaining in detail the redesign of our website infrastructure, we are really excited to announce the imminent launch of our newly designed website www.imaios.com

This is the result of many months of work and we hope that you will be fully satisfied with its performance and ease of use.

This release will also see some new features appear, which some of them are described here.

Anatomical parts and terminology page

You can access this new feature by clicking on the "Anatomical parts" button on the right side of the e-Anatomy page on the new website.

When you click on a result, a page with the anatomical structure you are looking for will be displayed allowing you:

  • To see the definition and anatomical images (illustrations, medical imaging) of the selected structure and click on the images to access the dedicated anatomical module.
  • To browse between the different anatomical structures of the human body using the tree structure on the left of this page.

We know that it’s important to be able to locate the different structures in different planes and 2D (illustrations), that's why we have taken care to develop this new feature hoping that it will be useful for your learning or research.

The new search engine will take you to a page of results organized by category: human, animal, clinical cases... allowing you to make a first selection according to your research goals (anatomy, pathology etc.).

Edit and share clinical cases

You probably already know our medical clinical cases database e-Cases, it seems essential to share knowledge and feedback between peers. This feature enables you to create clinical cases within case channels.

Each user with an IMAIOS account can access the list of his clinical cases by logging in and clicking on "My cases". By clicking on "import a new case", you can directly access the editor. You have the possibility to annotate your images with shapes (arrow, rectangle, square, ellipse...) which makes it possible to highlight areas and important points. The personal information contained in the files is completely anonymized. A preview of the case is also available. You can also publish it by selecting a case channel (public or private). Your case will be pending validation until the administrator of the channel approves it or explains what corrections need to be made before the clinical case can be published.

As soon as it’s approved, your case will be visible in the channel you chose.

You’re invited to discover these new features. We are looking forward to your feedback and suggestions!
