e-Anatomy and vet-Anatomy are constantly updated (especially the mobile apps) and the content is enriched. We listen carefully to your requests and needs, and we strive to meet them.
We are pleased to announce the release of 3 new modules.
Cardiac MRI in humans
The Thorax section of the e-Anatomy atlas has been expanded with an anatomical module dedicated to the anatomy of the heart. In this module, you can see the normal MRI appearance of the myocardium, pericardium, ventricles, atria, and heart valves.
MRI is particularly useful because it provides excellent tissue characterization, precise functional assessment, and vascular imaging, all without using ionizing radiation. The main sequences used are cine imaging (SSFP/balanced-FFE).
You will also find myocardial segmentation, which is very useful in cases of infarction.

An update is also available in the hip MRI module: we have enhanced the image series with a recent high-resolution 3T MRI acquisition (PD-FS and T1 images in multiplanar sections).
Horse myology (illustrations)
This atlas provides essential information for understanding the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system of the horse.
You can examine each muscle of the equine species in detail thanks to precise and comprehensive definitions.

CT of the abdomen–pelvis in the cat
This module presents a CT image series acquired in a healthy neutered male cat, shown in transverse, sagittal, and frontal planes.
The use of CT whether for preoperative evaluation, surgical navigation, or follow-up imaging helps optimize clinical decision-making and improve outcomes, particularly in complex or ambiguous cases.
