Scientific press review

A literature review revealed that a few resident programs in radiology in the United States had introduced tablets with specially designed training resources.(...) The aim of their study was to evaluate if learning time increased. Three months after the introduction of the MLD, self-reported study time had increased[...] The use of MLDs seems to facilitate learning effectively for radiologic residents [...] Of these four resources, IMAIOS e-Anatomy was most frequently used.

Additional resources provided by programs included E-Anatomy (55% of responding programs), tuition or stipend for a review course (42% of responding programs), electronic device for education (27% of responding programs), Qevlar question bank (11% of responding programs), [...].

Effect of an Online Atlas on Resident Learning of Musculoskeletal MRI anatomy

This pilot study suggests that convenient access to an online anatomy atlas significantly increases resident learning and knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy

Radiology, Mobile Devices, and Internet of Things (IoT)

Radiology by its nature is intricately connected to the Internet (...) service called eAnatomy that provides learners with detailed anatomy on representative CT and MRI images.

Transition to radiology residency

e-Anatomy is a detailed interactive multi-planar anatomy with various options to display or hide certain systems. It is helpful when trying to identify abnormal structures
