Description

The articular processes, two cranial and two caudal, spring from the junctions of the pedicles and laminæ. The cranial process projects cranially, and their articular surfaces are directed more or less craniodorsally; the caudal process project caudally, and their surfaces look more or less ventrocaudally. The articular surfaces are coated with hyaline cartilage.
