Lacrimal canal - Canalis lacrimalis

The lacrimal canal is the osseous canal that contains the nasolacrimal duct.

It begins in the lacrimal bone at the fossa for the lacrimal sac, follows a ventrorostral course and continues in the maxilla in a dorsally concave groove. It opens ventral to the caudal end of the conchal crest.
