Line of popliteus muscle - Linea musculus poplitei

Description

In horses, there are numeral grooves on the caudal surface of the body of tibia, for attachment of popliteal muscle. The mediodistal border of this area is called the line of popliteus muscle and marks the limit between the popliteus and the flexor digitorum/digitalis.
