Key points

@1.1 Polynuclear neutrophils have granules rather wide, violet and well individualized and more scattered than in the basophilic polynuclear which makes it possible to differentiate them.

@6.1 The cytoplasm of monocytes is clearly basophilic.

@7.1 Presence of giant platelets. This anomaly can lead to an error in red blood celss and platelets counting with certain automated analysis techniques.
