Tête de l'ulna - Caput ulnae

Description

The head of ulna is the distal extremity. In carnivores, there is an articular surface that is a circumference for articulation with ulnar carpal bone.

The head of ulna continues distally as the lateral styloid process.

The head of ulna is not present in horses: the fusion of the radius and ulna is complete and form the lateral styloid process of radius.
