上腕骨頭

定義
上腕骨頭はほぼ半球形を呈し、上方・内側方・やや後方に向いており、肩甲骨の関節窩と関節を形成する。
その関節面の周縁はわずかに狭窄しており、解剖頸と呼ばれる。これは、結節の下方に位置する狭窄部である外科頸と区別するための名称であり、外科頸は骨折の好発部位である。解剖頸の骨折はまれである。
