定義
頸神経叢は、浅枝（感覚枝）と深枝（運動枝）を分岐する。
頸神経叢浅枝は、頸部・上胸部の皮膚および頭皮の一部に感覚神経支配を提供する。頸神経叢は中斜角筋の前方に出現し、浅枝を分岐する。これらの浅枝は、胸鎖乳突筋の後縁中点において頸部に出現する。この点はErbの点と呼ばれ、頸神経叢の皮膚枝が浅層に達する部位である。これらの神経はその後、頸部の深被覆筋膜を貫いて浅筋膜内に至る。頸神経叢浅枝には以下が含まれる：
