定義
膝窩筋の近位腱は、大腿骨外側顆、腓骨頭、および外側半月を起始とし、ヒラメ筋線の近位で脛骨近位部に停止する。膝窩筋の腱は、膝の後外側隅角における重要な解剖学的構造である。
この腱は通常、大腿骨外側顆上の膝窩溝を走行する。単一の腱、副帯を伴う主腱、あるいは複数の腱など、様々な形態を呈することがある。[2] 膝窩筋腱としばしば関連する膝窩腓骨靱帯は、症例の大多数において存在し、膝後外側部の安定性に寄与する。[2]
膝窩筋腱の形態計測値として、長さは約24.85 mm、起始部における幅は約7.55 mm、筋腱移行部における幅は8.5 mm、腱の厚さは約2.6 mmである。[3] この腱は通常の膝関節鏡視下手術では全長を観察することができず、その長さの半分未満しか視認されないことが多い。[4]
