정의
시상후부는 날개판의 약간 바깥쪽 돌출로 발생하는 무릎체로 구성됩니다. 성인에서 가쪽무릎체는 시상뒤끝의 가쪽부분에 있는 융기로 나타나며, 안쪽무릎체는 중간뇌의 가쪽면에 위치합니다.
