정의
머리쪽 (또는 머리방향)은 몸통의 머리 끝 방향을 의미합니다. 몸통이 해부학적자세에 있을 때 '위'라는 용어와 혼용되어 사용됩니다.
머리쪽 또는 머리방향(머리 끝 방향)과 꼬리쪽(머리 끝에서 멀어지는 방향 / 꼬리 방향)은 모두 몸통의 긴축을 따라 구조물의 위치를 나타냅니다. 예를 들어, 팔은 다리에 비해 머리쪽에 위치하며, 다리는 꼬리쪽에 위치합니다.
