앞발가락

정의
각 발가락은 등쪽면, 굴곡 방향으로 오목한 앞발바닥면, 발의 축 방향을 향하는 축쪽면, 그리고 반대 방향을 향하는 축옆쪽면을 가집니다 (말과에서는 이 면들을 단순히 안쪽 및 가쪽이라고 부릅니다).
반추동물, 말 및 당나귀의 발가락은 그 크기로 인해 지형학적 세분 명칭이 별도로 부여되었습니다. 몸쪽에서 먼쪽 방향으로 다음과 같이 구분됩니다.
앞발목
대롱뼈 (관골, 셋째앞발허리뼈)
맺음목 (구절, 앞발허리발가락관절)
긴발목뼈 (제1지골, 첫마디)
갓관절 (몸쪽발가락뼈사이관절)
갓뼈 (제2지골, 중간마디뼈)
발굽관절 (먼쪽발가락뼈사이관절)
발굽뼈 (끝마디뼈)
