Lateral sacrococcygeal ligament
Ligamentum sacrococcygeum laterale
Definition
The lateral sacrococcygeal ligament exists on either side and connects the transverse process of the coccyx to the lower lateral angle of the sacrum; it completes the foramen for the fifth sacral nerve.
