Lateral supracondylar line
Linea supracondylaris lateralis
Definition
The lateral supracondylar line is the continuation of the lateral lip of linea aspera, extending downward. Together with the medial supracondylar line, it defines the posterior aspect of the lower end of the femur, forming the boundaries of the popliteal fossa. Below, the lateral supracondylar line terminates at the lateral condyle of the femur.
