Facies articularis talaris media

Definition

Middle talar articular surface is located above the sustentaculum tali of the calcaneus bone. It lies behind the anterior talar articular surface. The middle talar articular surface of the calcaneus connects with the corresponding middle calcaneal joint surface beneath the head of the talus bone.
