Sulcus subparietalis

Definition

A subparietal sulcus or suprasplenial sulcus is a sulcus, on the medial surface of each cerebral hemisphere, above the rear part of the cingulate gyrus, which is above the splenium of corpus callosum. The sulcus separates the precuneus above, from the posterior part of the cingulate gyrus below.
