Wprowadzenie
Moduł vet-Anatomy zawiera ilustracje poświęcone anatomii mięśni, w tym ścięgien, punktów przyczepu oraz różnych powięzi i więzadeł mających wpływ na ruchomość konia. Ilustracje anatomiczne zostały opatrzone opisami i stanowią ilustrowany atlas, obejmujący cały układ mięśniowy konia. Celem atlasu jest przybliżenie studentom i praktykującym lekarzom weterynarii anatomicznych struktur układu mięśniowo-szkieletowego.
Materiał i metody
Łącznie stworzono 341 oryginalnych ilustracji medycznych oraz wykonano 3 fotografie, które przedstawiają mięśnie głowy, szyi, klatki piersiowej, grzbietu, brzucha, ogona, kończyn piersiowych i miednicznych. Ukazano również ścięgna, miejsca przyczepów, pochewki maziowe oraz kaletki podścięgnowe u konia.
Ilustracje wykonali ilustratorzy naukowi: Felipe Barona Lopez, Marjorie Champarou, Estelle Demange, Anne-Sophie Emeric, Andrea Lopes da Costa, Antoine Micheau, Chloé Paris, nad którymi nadzór w kwestiach naukowych i anatomicznych pełnili dr Antoine Micheau,specjalista radiolog ( Montpellier, Francja) oraz dr Denis Hoa,specjalista radiolog (Montpellier, Francja).
Struktury anatomiczne zostały opisane zgodnie z Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (wydanie szóste z 2017 r., sporządzone przez International Committee on Veterinary Gross Anatomical Nomenclature - ICVGAN) i pogrupowane tematycznie:
