vet-Anatomy the interactive atlas of veterinary anatomy
vet-Anatomy is an interactive atlas of veterinary anatomy based on medical imaging. vet-Anaotmy has been created on the same framework than the popular award-wining e-Anatomy, but dedicated to animals, under the direction of Dr. Susanne AEB Boroffka, dipl. ECVDI, PhD.
The shoulder joint (of glenohumeral joint) is a synovial ball-and-socket joint between the glenoid cavity of the scapula and the head of the humerus. It is capable of movement in any direction, but its chief movements are flexion and extension.
