The glenohumeral ligaments are internal thickened parts of the joint capsule of the glenohumeral joint.

In dogs, these reinforcements are located medially and cranially, forming the medial and lateral glenohumeral ligaments (not listed in the Vth edition of the NAV). In horses, this reinforcement is cranially located (cranial glenohumeral ligament (not listed in the Vth edition of the NAV).
