Origin: Lateral supracondylar tuberosity of the femur and the lateral sesamoid.

Insertion: Colaterally on the tuber calcanei, distal metatarsophalangeal joints.

Action: Flexion of the digits, extension and fixation of the tarsus, flexion of the stifle.

Nerve: Tibialis
