Ligamentum anulare quartum
Definição
A quarta polia anular (A4) é uma faixa fibrosa resistente localizada ao longo da falange média de cada dedo. Ela faz parte do estrato fibroso que envolve os tendões do músculo flexor superficial dos dedos (FDS) e do músculo flexor profundo dos dedos (FDP).
A polia A4 é fundamental para manter os tendões flexores próximos ao osso ao cruzarem a falange média, prevenindo o arqueamento e garantindo uma flexão dos dedos suave e eficiente, especialmente nas articulações interfalângicas proximais e distais.
