Evidence of abnormal patellar articular cartilage signals with irregularity and focal thinning seen in the medial patellar facet with underlying subchondral bone marrow edema. Features are suggestive of grade IV chondromalacia patella.
There is a horizontal degenerative signal seen in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus not reaching the articular surfaces (grade I abnormal signal).
Mild amount of knee joint effusion.
Fabella is noted that measures about 11 x 12 mm
