Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) disease has spread widely around the world, reaching a pandemic stage in March 2020, with CT imaging playing an important role in the diagnosis of COVID-19.

Chest CT is the test of choice for complicated infection due to Covid-19. Its sensitivity is close to 90% and its specificity to 70%. In addition, this test is quick and relatively easy to perform. Its interest in the follow-up of patients admitted to the intensive care unit is sometimes crucial. Chest CT is performed in patients with signs of severity, but also to eliminate another diagnosis in case of respiratory disorders: pulmonary embolism, heart failure, other infectious pneumopathy. A Chinese-American study has just demonstrated that SARS-CoV-2 causes radiological signs that can lead to a referral to an SARS-CoV-2 infection rather than another infectious pneumopathy.

In collaboration with IMAIOS, IMADIS provides all French radiologists with a database of imaging tests describing the pulmonary signs of COVID-19. In order to become familiar with the specific pulmonary signs of COVID-19, you will find PCR-confirmed COVID-19 cases encountered by the IMADIS teams, in the form of CT scans with complete image series: PCR-confirmed COVID-19 cases: PCR-confirmed COVID-19 Cases
