胸骨関節面
Facies articularis sternalis
定義
胸骨関節面は鎖骨の端に位置する関節面であり、前後方向に凹、上下方向に凸をなし、関節円板を介して胸骨柄と関節する。この関節面の下部は、骨の下面へと連続して小さな半楕円形の領域を形成し、第一肋骨の軟骨との関節面となる。関節面の周囲は粗面をなし、多数の靱帯の付着部となる。上角には関節円板が付着する。
