定義
尺骨の下端は小さく、二つの隆起を呈する。外側にある大きい方は円形の関節性隆起であり、尺骨頭と呼ばれる。内側にある狭くより突出した方は非関節性隆起であり、茎状突起である。
茎状突起は骨の内側後部から突出し、尺骨頭よりもやや下方に下降する。その円形の先端は手関節の内側側副靱帯の付着部となる。尺骨頭と茎状突起との間は、三角関節円板の尖端の付着部となる窩によって隔てられており、後方においては尺側手根伸筋の腱のための浅い溝によって隔てられている。
