정의
나비뼈작은날개의 뒤테두리는 매끄럽고 둥글며, 뇌의 가쪽틈새 안으로 들어갑니다. 이 테두리의 안쪽끝은 앞침대돌기를 형성하며, 여기에 소뇌천막이 부착됩니다. 앞침대돌기는 때로 뼈의 작은 침상돌기에 의해 중간침대돌기와 연결되기도 하며, 이러한 경우 속목동맥고랑의 끝부분이 구멍(carotico-clinoid)으로 전환됩니다.
