Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex Tear (TFCC) Injury
Publication date: February 10, 2025 | Updated on February 10, 2025
Report
Diffuse bone marrow edema involving the whole carpal bones and the base of the second, third, and fourth metacarpal bones that are associated with increased signal of adjacent structures and synovium; suggestive of synovitis.
The ulnotriquetral ligament shows a wavy contour and increased signal intensity suggesting high grade partial tear that is associated with edema of the surrounding soft tissue structures. There is also abnormal signal intensity and edema involving the trianglular ligament suggesting TFCC injury.
