Flocculus

Definition

Juliette Garnodier

The flocculus is a small, paired lobule forming the most ventral part of each cerebellar hemisphere. Each flocculus is connected medially to the unpaired nodulus of the cerebellar vermis. Together, the two flocculi and the nodulus constitute the flocculonodular lobe of the cerebellum.
