Médiastin ventral
Mediastinum ventrale
Définition
Le médiastin ventral est la portion du médiastin située ventralement au cœur, entre le péricarde et le sternum. Il contient notamment le thymus dans sa partie crâniale (chez le jeune) et le ligament phrénicopéricardique en région caudale.
