Définition
Le sillon post-central est un sillon important situé dans le lobe pariétal. Il longe le sillon central, en se positionnant en arrière de celui-ci, et s'étend vers le bas et vers l'avant depuis le bord supérieur de l'hémisphère cérébral. Conjointement avec le sillon central, il délimite le gyrus post-central, également connu sous le nom d'aire sensorielle primaire. Le sillon post-central atteint également la face médiale de l'hémisphère cérébral, où il se connecte avec la branche marginale du sillon du cingulum, formant ainsi le bord postérieur du lobule paracentral.
