Opercule temporal
Operculum temporale
Définition
L'opercule temporal est la partie du lobe temporal qui recouvre l'insula. Il fait partie du gyrus temporal supérieur et contribue à la lèvre inférieure du sillon latéral, qui s'étend au-dessus du cortex insulaire.
Il existe d'autres opercules corticaux importants, tels que les opercules orbital, frontal et fronto-pariétal, qui recouvrent également le cortex insulaire.
