가슴림프관팽대

정의
가슴림프관팽대 (Chyle cistern; Cistern of Pecquet)는 가슴림프관배부분의 위쪽에 위치하는 길쭉한 주머니 모양의 림프구조물입니다. 일반적으로 T12에서 L2 척추 높이에서 발견되지만, T10에서 L3까지 위치가 다양할 수 있습니다.
해부학적으로 가슴림프관팽대는 크기, 모양 및 형태가 매우 다양합니다. 최대 직경은 2~32mm, 길이는 13~80mm 범위에 이릅니다. 이 구조물은 굵거나 가는 관, 소시지 모양의 액체 저류, 또는 국소 신경얼기 형태로 나타날 수 있습니다. 가장 흔하게는 배대동맥의 오른쪽 등가쪽에 위치합니다.
가슴림프관팽대는 주요 림프저장소로서, 가슴림프관으로 유입되기 전에 배안 및 골반 내장과 하지에서 오는 림프를 수집하는 역할을 합니다.
