정의
옛겉질은 3~5개의 겉질층(신경세포체층)으로 구성된 얇고 원시적인 겉질조직의 한 유형입니다. 옛겉질은 해마곁이랑, 후각망울, 덧후각망울, 후각결절, 조롱박겉질, 편도체주위영역, 앞후각핵, 앞관통질, 앞조롱박영역에 존재합니다.
