Surco postcentral
Sulcus postcentralis
Definición
El surco postcentral es un surco importante que se encuentra en el lobo parietal. Discurre junto al surco central, situado detrás de él, y se extiende hacia abajo y hacia delante desde el borde superior del hemisferio cerebral. Junto con el surco central, delimita el giro postcentral, también conocida como área sensorial primaria. El surco postcentral también alcanza el lado medial del hemisferio cerebral, donde conecta con el ramo marginal del surco del cíngulo, formando el borde posterior del lobo paracentral.
